My Great Grandfather Martin Derrig was born on 15 March 1884 in Tourmakeady, Co Mayo. He arrived in Boston on Jun 1st 1905 and settled in Portland, Maine. I know we still may have family over in the area including a relative by the name of Nora Derrig. Hoping for perhaps more family information on where exactly he was from and to connect with relatives.

Saw a Martin Derrig age 14 in Derry in the 1901 census.

The age is a little off but my irish relations didn't seem to be concerned with actual years of birth. Derry and Tourmakeady are both just west of Lough Mask. By 1911 Martin and brother Thomas are not with the family.
