My Great Grandmother was Margaret Kennedy b1831. Parents were William Kennedy and Mary Meagher.I have a copy of a letter written to Margaret dated August 20th 1852 by her Mother wishing her well on her voyage to Australia. Letter is written from Clonmore and Margaret is asked to reply to Fr.O?onnor 'Parish Priest of Templemore for Mary Kennedy of Graffen or Graffin. Allof Margarets siblings came to Australia execpt her brother William who was frail. Lorraine Johnson.

Hi Bacchus,
If you go to www.rootsireland.ie you will find the baptismal record for margaret Kennedy, father william, mother mary meagher in Co. tipperary.
You will have to pay to view this record but it's not expensive, about €5 or so.
