We believe he is the Nicholas MacKenna in a baptism record for Duleek given as follows:
father Joseph MacKenna
mother Anne Monaghan
witness Bartholomew Gargan
witness Mary Caffrey
date of baptism 2 April 1871

Hello, thanks for the reply and the leads. Some more information on the person I posted on, Nicholas MacKenna (McKenna)
- DOB probably 30 March 1871
- date of baptism 2 Aprl 1871
- Roman Catholic
- church/parish unknown
- parents Joseph MacKenna, Anne Monaghan; may have had a number of other siblings, but we think we know of a Peter (or possibly Petrus; not Peadar)
- date of emigration to US: abt 1882
- subsequently married Anna F. Cahill, probably in NYC, abt 1896
- date of death, in NYC, 30 July 1932
