Hello. I am researching my 3rd great grandparents, Bernrad No(w)lan and Rose Buckl(e)y who were married 25 May 1841, records show as Kilcloon, Batterstown & Kilcock, and show counties as Meath & Kildare. All of their children, including my 2GGF Michael Nolan, were batpized in this parish/parishes as well.
My sister and I are planning our first trip to Ireland this May and we are planning to visit this area of Co. Meath and hoped to possibly learn more of our Nolan/Buckley family while there.
We believe our 3GGF Bernard Nolan may have died there in Ireland about 1850 or so.
Bernard and Rose also have baptsimal records for two daughters named Ellen (b. 1845 and 1847) who probably both died as infants there.
Rose Buckley went to New York with her son Michael Nolan around 1851 and Rose soon remarried.
I would love to find out if there is a way to determine which church our family worshipped in, and maybe even a cemetery they might be buried in. ANy information or ideas are welcome, we really want to make the most of our visit to Ireland, we are so excited to see the land of our ancestors!
Thank you,

Did this marriage record come from Ancestry ? I've a suspicion that at least some of the records they have classified as 'Kilcloon, Batterstown & Kilcock' are actually for different parishes (coincidently this cropped up on another topic yesterday).
The Index on RootsIreland (pay-website) seems to have this same Nowlan/Buckley marriage under the parish of 'Tubber and Rosemount' which is located on the borders of Counties Westmeath and Offaly.
