I am looking for descendants of my Hanley tree.
My relatives from as far back as I have gotten to are:
James Hanley 1798 born Meath Ireland. Died 1866 in Tuam Ireland. He married Mary Ryan 1811- 1857
Their son is Cornelius james Hanley born 1811 nenagh ireland, died in Melbourne Australia in 27 September 1911. He married Sarah Ann Scott in 1848 - 1936
Cornelius John Hanley was born 3rd Feb 1872 in Euroa and died 1959 in Melbourne. He married Sarah Morgan 1878 -1951.
Daughter is Ena Clarice Hanley born 1910-1984 in Euroa, Victoria ( married name Mitchell.) She is my grandmother and the mother of my father John Austin Mitchell 1930-2002.
Any ancestors or information on the parents of James Hanley is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Andrea Hynes Mitchell ( I also have posted for Hynes under the Galways messages)

Andrea:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and the earliest James Hanley baptismal record was in 1800. No way to know if this record is for your ancestor.
Question: You indicate that James' son was born in 1811. Is that correct since his mother was born in 1811?

Hello Roger,
Thanks for pointing that out, Cornelius James Hanley was born 1847-1911.
I will check the new information given and see where it takes me.
If anyone should be related I would be happy to swap some family pictures of the australian ancestors.
Thanks again Roger.

Roger, how can I get a copy of his death certificate? I cannot locate any link to follow? Also, how can I narrow it down from just 'Meath as place of death? Will his parents names definately be on his death certificate?

Andrea:
From your earlier note, you indicated that Cornelius died in Australia. Is that correct? I'm not familiar with obtaining Australian death records.

I had the wrong Hanley.
The civil death records will not show parents names. It will show date of death, townland, cause of death, name of informant and sometimes relationship of informant to deceased.
This link http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx provides instructions. I assume you just need a photocopy rather than a cert. Provide them with year and quarter of death, registration district, Volume and page number.
