I hope this Message reaches you as I am new on this site whch I found by accident.

I am the great grandaughter of Jane Sherlock (nee Fagan) who was a sister of your great grandfather Laurence Fagan.  Jane was married to my Great Grandfathre Patrick Sherlock and lived at Gainstown.  They had a son (my Grandfather) William Sherlock who married a Teresa Lawlor and my father, Patrick Sherlock, was their son.  Sadly my father died in 2011.  My mother, Monica, mentioned that Dad used to write to a Deasey in Australia.  You say that Bridget Deasey (nee Sherlock) was the daughter of Jane Fagan and Patrick Sherlock.  She would have been a sister then of William Sherlock (my Grandfather).
