We are planning a trip to Northern Ireland in possibly May/June of 2019. I know some of my gillis and Robinson folks are buried in the cemetary on the grounds of St. Salvatore church on estate Leslie. Anyone been there or have any ideas.?
I'm also planning on doing some family research while we are there.

Hi Sidnie,
For your visit, just make sure you do as much background work as you can.
What years are you looking for?
There are a few online sites that are free, but it depends on the years.

HI Margot,
Thanks so much for replying. I've done quite a bit of research on my family history. I distant cousin hired an Irish genealogist years ago and did manage to push our Gillis family back one generation. I'm mostly interested in mid 1700-s to mid 1800's. Seems some of the family moved on to Canada 1920's. Some stayed behind of course.

Hi Margot
Thanks for the info but I have most of the details of my side of the Gillis tree from those sites plus other sites I use.
I work on my tree for about 3 hours each day so there is not many sites I have not tried.
I was more interested in any connection between Sidnie and my Gillis side. Thanks again
John

Hey Margot,
Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into getting me those links. I know of some but never hurts to revisit them.
