I am looking for my greatgrandfather's family (David McBurney)-late 1800's, possibly a farmer. He married my g-grandmother(Josephine Fleming< daughter of Rachel Harbison and Robert Fleming). I have been told the Flemings owned a pub in Castleblayney that is still there.

I looked at the 1901 census and only found one McBurney family closer to Monaghan Town.

I did locate the residence of Robert and Rachel on West St. in Castleblayney. Their daughter Anne was living with them.
