My great-great-great grandmother was born Bridget McCabe in County Monaghan on May 24, 1814. She married a gentleman with the surname of McDaniel, and they had 16 kids. Eventually the family moved to Toronto.

Hi , My Dad has a friend here in Kingston, On Canada with the last name McCabe, she had travelled recently to visit family there in Ireland. Perhaps there's a connection to her family, sometimes it's a small world. Toronto is about a 2 and a half hour drive from Kingston!
