I am hoping to find some information on Alexander Pollock & James Smith families, from Kilmore, Monaghan. I know Alexander had a daughter Esther, born 1842, married 13 August, 1857, Kilmore Monaghan to Robert Smith, born 1837, Kilmore, Monaghan. Robert & Esther went to live in Lanarkshire Scotland by the 1871 Scotland census where they died between 1901-1911.
I have no information on James Smith wife or family. And none on Alexander Pollock's wife or family, although I have found an Alexander Pollock in Griffiths valuation, "Lessor, Lord Rossmore, Monaghan, Kilmore parish, townlamd Nart." I believe this to be the Alexander I'm searching for. I have also found a John Joseph Pollock, 1886, Nart, Co. Monaghan he emigrated to the USA in 1922.
What are the names of their respective wives?
Any info. would be appreciated, Thanks.

Have you had a look on rootsireland.ie ( a subscription site) or familysearch.org to see is a marriage or baptism record is available? You don't mention the religions denomination but RC records for Kilmore begin in 1836 with some later gaps in this series. There won't be a baptism or marriage for anyone born or married in that parish before that time but the Early Marriage and Birth Index might be of assistance instead:
