I have had some luck on a previous occasion when I posted a photo on here and hope I may be lucky this time too.
My great grandmother was Mary Anne Casey of Modeese. I believe her parents were Bernard Casey and Alice (Brennan).
She married James Nogher (later changed to O'Connor) and lived in TonyScallan, Doohamlet and finally, I think, Clontibret.
She had 12 children, some of whom remained in Ireland - Margaret married James McAdam, Catherine married Charles Eccles, Cornelius didn't marry, Bernard (Benny) went to Dublin and I have no idea who he married. Mary Alice went to Liverpool and married Edward Smyth of Corderryduff and Charles went to Birmingham but not sure if he married there or before he went.
Six other children went to Brooklyn USA and married there. Agnes (m.O'Halloran) Elizabeth (m. Cleary), RoseAnne (m. Jennings) Winifred(m. McCabe), James (m. Mary Morgan) and Peter(m. Anna Hurson).
I have made contact with US cousins and have just been sent a photo which I believe was taken in 1932 when Winifred came back to Liverpool and visited Ireland with her sister Mary Alice, Mary Alice's two children Edward and Lily. There was obviously some sort of family gathering as the photo has all the above named plus granny O'Connor (Mary Anne Casey), what looks to be a younger sister of Mary Anne and some other girls and women who may be Casey descendants.
Does anyone have any idea of who these people might be.

Dear Maria
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
As photos are such a visual medium it might be a good idea to post a message on the Monaghan Ancestry Facebook page. There may well be someone there who could help you:
