We would be grateful for anyone who could comment on the death, in 1850, of Arthur Kelly, possibly in Athleague, and/or his father Hugh Kelly, died and buried in Athleague in 1824 (wife Sally Gibbons, tbc).
We research this individual as we think he was married to Mary Donagh Kelly (1788 Ireland, d 1848 in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Dear Pauline -
There is a Hugo Kelly (Hugh Kelly) who died in March 1824 at Athleague, Roscommon, Ireland. The diocese is Elphin and his residence place at the time of death is listed as MT Talbot (I am assuming it is Mount Talbot). Elphin Diocese covers parties of the countries of Roscommon, Sligo, Galway and Weatmeath. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any additional information for you regarding Arthur Kelly, Sally Gibbons or Mary Donagh Kelly. The parish of Athleague (Athleague and Fuerty) has baptismal records available from 1808-1900 with many gaps. Marriages from 1808 through 1900 and deaths 1808 to 1837. This information is from the online source of Rootsireland.ie.
IrelandXO has a map of this area in the 1830 (https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/timeline/mou…) and the parish listing on IrelandXO could be of assistance.
Please let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
