Hi -

I'm looking for my Great Grandfather (6x) Owen Madden.  I found records of an Owen Madden in your parish.  OWEN MADDEN was born Before. 1750 in Ireland.  I don't know exactly when he immigrated to New York but he married LYDIA TERWILLIGER April 29, 1774 in Shawangunk, Ulster Co., N. Y., USA.

Can you help me with finding Owen Madden?

    RC Church records for Baslick parish do not start until the 1860s. In fact the earliest parish (Athlone) in Co. Roscommon starts in 1789.

    I found a record of an Owen Madden on an ancestory site that has a copy of The Census of Elphin 1749 Transcription with the below information.  I am not sure even if this is "my" Owen Maddenn I do not know his date of birth only when he was married in NY. I don't know how or when he came to NY.
