My great great great grandparents Michael and Brigid Lee (n?e Early) died at Frenchpark, Castlerea, Roscommon. Michael died in April 1867 and Brigid died in 1866. Are there any records of their burial?

They could have been registered under Kilcoman or Castlemore parish records. Is there any other records of their family members?

We have found a Griffith's Valuation record for Michael Lee  in 1857 - Frenchpark union, parish of Castlerea,  Tibohine, townland Eden. This information may help.

Are there cemetery records online with photos of memorial stones? Can you give me any help?

kind regards

I'm not in Ireland so I'm not sure about the burial records for the area. Seems to me, you should try to contact St. Asicus Church in Frenchpark first to see what records they have from the 1860s. See link below.

  • Hi Maria

There is a record of the death of Michael Lee in 1867 Roscommon aged 67 on www.rootsireland.ie/

    The parish was Frenchpark Civil

You need to purchase credit to view the full record which hopefully will have the place of burial
