Hi,

I am researching my ggg Grandparents Thomas Connolly and Ellen Mcloughlin,I have very little information about them,only that they marry and have 2 sons Thomas and John(about 1840's) and that their sons move to Walsall England.

I do not know whereabouts in Roscommon they come from.

Any information would be appreciated.

    I was unable to locate a baptismal record for young Thomas.or the marriage record. There are a number of Roscommon RC parishes which do not have records back to 1840. I did look at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co. Roscommon. Assuming the elder Thomas was alive and leasing land in Roscommon, he may be one of the four listed below.
