I am looking for my ancestor Mary Dolan. She is my great great grandmother. She was born in County Roscommon in 1818. Her parents were Hugh and Margaret Dolan. In the early 1830's she came to the United States where she located in Massachusetts, maybe in the city of Boston. In 1847 she was married to Patrick King from County Galway. They lived for a time in Massachusetts and for a time in Pennsylvania. In 1860 they moved west to the town of Rantoul, in Calumet County, in the state of Wisconsin. They had 4 children named Mary Elizabeth, Anna, Charles, and Josephine.

You could try Familysearch.org for Death of Hugh Dolan and then Margaret Dolan I would be inclined to leave the search broad. Just put in Ireland for location. and years 1820 to 1880. A number of possibilities for Margaret in Roscommon prop up. Also a few Probate records pop up for Hugh in Roscommon in the 1850s 1860s.
