hello my name is dacee gillen. im looking for any information reguarding my 3rd generation grandfather and his family. THOMAS KEIGHER was born in Roscommom Ireland in 1821 and died in Schenectady New York in 1885. He married margaret and had 7 children: mary (1851), James (1853), Thomas (1855-1912), Edward (1857-1912), Margaret (1859), Bernard (1864) and William (1867). the only information i have on his mother is her name is Catherine and i believe his siblings are Barey, Michael and Jane.

I checked the Tithe Applotment listings and found three Keigher entries. Also checked the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing and found two entries. I was looking for a James Keigher Thomas' oldest son was James) but no success. The 1901 census shows a number of Keigher families in Shankill, Baslick (which is near Castlerea), Tibohine parishes and a few others. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Hi, I have been searching for my family back at home. Patrick Keigher and Theophilus Keigher I know are part of my family. Patrick Keigher's will, left money to my g-grandfather. But, for the other's Daniel, Peter and Peter would love to get more information on each of them. A good number of the Keigher's left and went to the US at that time. I do know that Patrick had two brothers, Timothy and Michael, and one sister, Ellen. As for Theeophilus we have found nothing. Any, information would be wonderful. Thanks.
