Birth/Baptism of Mary Ann McNEA about 1850

A quick look at LDS Family search does show your James McNea and Margaret Hunter marriage in 1845 Belfast. There is a child listed:  a female born Oct 31 1864 with no first name . A James McNea shows in Lancashire England @ 70 yrs of age in 1891 putting a DOB Est 1821. Possible connection there, however births before 1864 general registration were recorded in each church parish.  http://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com/index.html will explain more on where to locate what records.

 You have 2 different concepts here in St Marys and Shankill.  St Marys would be in the religious parish which would also tell you where to possibly locate your records, while Shankill is the civil parish.  The Shankill civil parish contained 2 churches named St. Marys and St. Mary Magdalene. Interesting changes occurred to all the churches over a period of time. http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=353901.0   gives a good idea of what church parish you will need to look at.

FamilySearch gives less information than I already know, unfortunately.  Six of Mary Ann McNea's siblings, children of James McNea and Margaret Hunter, are listed as having been baptised at St Anne's C of I . Belfast. Where can the "original" records be viewed, so that it can be ascertained whether she has just been "skipped"  when the records were being transcribed, misspelled , or was not baptised there in the first place?  As her parents were married in May St Presbyterian Church, the same question applies re " original" records.
