  • John Pedder- I am also researching Mitchells in Termonbarry. My James Mitchell, born about 1843-1844, father John Mitchell. When he married in 1874, James was a landowner in Cloonfower townland, which is right next to Cloonaufil. Have you done any DNA testing?

  • Hello

I am also researching my Mitchell family name which has now taken me to Ballintober, Roscommon.

I have an Edward Mitchell 1799 to 1871 and a John Mitchell 1836, Ballintober, Roscommon who emigrated to UK around 1851.

If anyone has other information would be extremley grateful to make contact.
