I am looking for my Great Great Grandparents, Michael Regan and Catherine Casey.  Their son, John C. Regan, was born in 1859 and emigrated to Brooklyn, NY in 1883.  He was a book binder.

Do I have any Regan cousins in Tibohine?

Regan was a very common name in Tibohine parish in the mid-19th century. Below is a link to the 1856 Griffiths Valuation survey list of head of households in Tibohine parish. There are 45 Regan entries including 4 Michaels. Possibly one of the Michaels is John's father but no guarantee. Do you have names of any siblings? Civil registration of births started in 1864 so younger siblings to John may be recorded. Church records for this parish are also available on microfilm through a Mormon Family History Center. www.familysearch.org
