  • Hi

Do you have any other information regarding this family? Dates? Emigration? etc?

Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.

Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.

    Kind regards,

I am looking for any information about my grandfather.  I have not found any records from Ireland regarding anyone in his family.According to naturalization and immigration records, my grandfather, Thomas Judge, was born in 1882-3 and identified Ballymote as his birthplace.    His father may have been John Brehoney (Brehany), his mother Annie Langan, both born in the 1850s.  He had 12 brothers and sisters.  Six of them are unidentified.  Thomas arrived on the S.S Carpathia in Boston on 14 May 1903.  He joined his brothers Matthew, born 1874, arrived in Boston 1907 on the SS Saxonia  and John, born 1882, arrived in Boston 1899 on the SS Cephalonia and sister Nellie, born 1870, arrived in Boston 1889.  He married Antoinette Racine in Boston in 1910. He died in 1983 in Boston.
