Seeking information on my 2x great-grandmother who was born in County Mayo on November 25, 1838 to Thomas Flannley (Flanley) and I believe Bridgett McCue. In 1857 she married Thomas Fentney Scott in Easkey. They emigrated to the United States between 1858-62 and settled in New Jersey. Eventually they made their way to Idaho where she and her husband were buried (d: 1914). In the U.S. Thomas worked as a farmer. I know that religion can be telling. My grandmother was, to the best of my knowledge, always Catholic and with what I know of the other converging lines, it would have to have come from the Flannleys or Scotts. Any information is appreciated.

I think the surname was Flannelly in Ireland. I checked Roots Ireland and was not able to find Catherine's baptismal record in Mayo and also the marriage record in Co. Sligo.
The 1856 Griffiths Valuation for Co. Mayo shows nine Thomas Flannelly records. We don't know if Thomas the father of Catherine was still alive in 1856 but if he was , he may be listed in the Griffiths. www.askaboutireland.ie has the Griffiths records. The records for Attymass parish are closer to Swinford.
