Tracing any Gilroys near Balintogher abt 1870. Have searched 1901/11 census and Griffiths Val. Married Mary Flaherty (previously Furey) emigrated to Glasgow and then Coatbridge Scotland.

I have not located any records in Co. Sligo either. Since Ballintogher and Killerry parish are right on the Co. Leitrim border, is it possible your family came from Leitrim?

I am starting to look into Leitrim Gilroys. My Great Grandmother, Mary Flaherty was married to Barclay Furey, and married my greatgrandfather after he died. I have found Barclay in Griffiths but not much else.
