I am hoping you can help solve my brick wall. I do not know which parish they are from and only have cursory infomation on them!
My great grandmother was Annie CONNOLLY. Her mother was named Bridget (last name unknown) and her father MAY have been Patrick.
Annie was born Feb 14, 1861 and married Michael QUINN (b abt 1852 in Co. Galway) in Prescott, England on Jan 8, 1877. They had children named Marge, Bridgit, James, Anne, Patrick, Jimmie, Mary Agnes, Thomas and Joseph. They immigrated to the USA with her mother Bridget and settled in the Oranges of New Jersey.
Bridget's obituary indicated she was from Parish Sooey, County Sligo, Ireland but I can't find that parish.
If any of this looks familiar, perhaps you can help me? I have been stuck for a long time.
