William Weir (born about 1809) and his future wife, Elizabeth Hanna (born about 1819), were from County Sligo. They married in Upper Canada in 1837 and settled as farmers in Nissouri Township of what would later become Ontario. We assume that they emigrated from Ireland in the late 1820s or early 1830s. They are listed as Methodists in later census records. Any help tracking down their Irish details is appreciated.
