Look for information on William and Robert G Keating/e

Robert G Keating/e born about 1825 in Adfinnan, possibly William was born bout 1830 also in Ardfinnan.

Robert married Anne Brown in 1847, while William married Eliza Hawshaw in 1852, both at St. Marys Clonmel.

Their parents William died 1850 and Sarah died 1885, along with Roberts wife Anne died 1866 in Cork are buried in St. Marys Clonmel.

Any other information on this family would be much appreciated.

    There is a baptism record of William Keating Ardfinnan R C parish birth 16 Aug 1811 on www.rootsireland.ie/ (subscription site)

    Parents are William K & Joanna Wall

    I couldn't find a Robert but there is a Richard 25 Oct 1821 Ardfinna R C father William but mother Mary Murphy

    I couldn't find a marriage record for Wm & Joanna

  • Hi Col,

     

    Thank you for your prompt reply.  I should have mentioned in my first email that the family were COI and not catholic.

    St. Mary's Clonmel COI is where William Sarah and Anne are buried and where Robert & William were married.

    I do know that William Hawkshaw Keatinge son of the above William was a Parish Clerk I have no idea where, or whether it was St. Mary's COI.
