My great great grandfather, Stephen Maher, who married Margaret Stapleton at St. Mary's Killenaule(she was from Ballyvadin) migrated to Albany, NY in the 1850's. I am searching for connections to either one of this couple. Their daughter, Margaret Maher, married my great grandfather, James O'Dwyer of Dualla/Rathclogh,Co. Tipp., in Albany, NY in 1872.James came to Albany in 1864 to join at least one sister Catherine who was already there and who married Richard Dunn who also came from Dualla.
