Would like to verify a marriage between Michael Dwyer & Ellen McCarthy in 1836 in Greenane.
Michael & Ellen emigrated to Austraila in 1841 on ship "Lysander with their 3 childen.
Michael's parents are John Dwyer (tennant farmer in Thurles) and Mary Ryan.
According to family story Ellen was born Nov 1804 in Greenane. parents Calawan (? Callaghan) McCarthy and Honorah Hill
Any information on this family appreciated.
Col of Thurles parish said there is birth for Ellena McCarthy parents McCarthy and Hill in your Carrick-on-Sur.
