From my research on the families in London, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada and the nearby area of Biddulph Twp., Middlesex Co., Ontario I have found the following Gleeson / Gleason families that can be identified as having been from the Cloughjordan parish:

1.  Dennis Gleeson b. 1812 and his wife Mary Carroll b. 1810 - Son Michael Gleeson baptized Dec 16, 1838 in Cooraclevin, Dunkerrin parish with sponsors Michael Carroll & Suzann Carroll; son Denis Gleeson baptized Dec 24, 1843 in Loughane with sponsors Denis Gleeson & Jane Carroll; daughter Margaret baptized May 10, 1846 in Loughane with sponsors being Michael Gleeson & Margaret Gleeson.  Another daughter Mary Gleeson was born on Jan 29, 1840 in Ireland.  Family lived Biddulph, Ontario.

2.  Dennis Gleeson b. Unknown and wife Margaret Burns b. Unknown - daughter Johanna Gleeson baptized Mar 13, 1862 in L. Graigue with sponsors Denis Dunne & Anne Byrne; son William baptized Apr 13, 1866 in Graigne Ardcrony with sponsor Denis Gleeson.  Johanna marries in 1888 in London, Ontario, Canada to William Wellman and moves to Detroit, Michigan.  No other information on this family at this time.

3.  Michael Gleeson b. 1811 and 1st wife Margaret Gleeson b. 1808 d. 1852 London, Ontario - Had daughter Judith baptized on Sep 29, 1838 in Knocknacree on Sep 29, 1838 with sponsors Timothy Gleeson & Anne Meara.  Another son Dennis b. 1839 in Ireland and can not find a baptismal record for him.  Michael married in Canada for a 2nd time to Sarah Kennedy.  Family lived in London, Ontario, Canada.

4. James Gleeson b. 1829, parents unknown, married Mary Clancy on Nov 24, 1844.  No address was given, but witnesses to the marriage were John Gaynon & Esther Collins.  First child, Julia, born in Canada in 1845.  James died in 1872 in London, Ontario, Canada.
