I now know they were possibly married in Scotland as Ellen was underage and Martin was about to go off to Canada in the military. Before Ellen left for Australia she was a farm servant in Inch. Would that possibly be at Inch House in 1841? I'm looking for birth and baptism dates and place for Ellen Ryan and her parents names please. I'm planning a trip to Inch, Thurles and Templemore in 2015 from Australia to seek the origins of my ancestors.
