The birthplace of some of my Ryan Antecedents is given as Pollagh.I have recently discovered that Pollagh & the adjoining Townland of Garryteige appear to have undergone boundary changes somewhere between 1847 & 1867.The size of Pollagh is much larger in 1847 & is different from the Griffith's Valuation. Can anyone shed any light on this ?
