Richard Walsh born abt 1790 and Mary Cantwell born abt 1790. married circ 1810.
Richard was convict sent to New South Wales, Aust. 1834 Mary and family came as free settlers in 1839.

I found a record of Richard Walsh in Lickfinn parish in 1834, the year he was transported..I wonder if this is your Richard?

Lickfinn civil parish belongs to the Catholic parish of Kilenaule:
Records there start as early as 1742, unfortunately however there are none available online. You can see at the above link where copies are available from. Alternatively you could try writing to the local parish priest for some possible assistance.

I'm researching Catherine Walsh who is one of the daughters of Richard Walsh and Mary Cantwell. Catherine married Thomas Phelan in Camden Abt. 1845 and was, like Richard Walsh, transported for "cattle maiming. I would be very interested in exchanging information with you.
