Hi,

I have been researching my family tree for some time and I am at a dead end. I am seeking any information on the following people;

Margaret Crow born in 1838 in Tipperary, Ireland to parents James Crow (b. 1820) and Johanna Carey (b. 1820). Margaret migrated to Australia and married Patrick Ryan on 12 May 1860 in Geelong. She died on 1st nov 1904 in Geelong.

Patrick Ryan born in 1838 in County Clare to parents Michael Ryan and Margaret McDonnell. He died in Geelong, Victoria 28 Dec 1886. 

I am also after information on their parents.

    I searched on two subscription sites and was unable to find a Margaret Crowe baptismal record with the parents names you provided.

    I did locate a September 9 1834 baptismal record for a Patrick Ryan with father Michael and mother Margaret McDonnell. The RC parish was Killaloe in Co. Clare. Patrick had at least six siblings: Matt 1830 John 1832 Mary 1836 Marret? (from the register it appears to be Margaret) 1841 Nance 1843 Timothy 1947

    On the clarelibrary.ie site (free), there is a marriage record in the RC parish of Killaloe for Michael Ryan and Margaret McDonnell:

    Michael Ryan, residence Garranboy & Margaret McDonnell, residence Killaloe on 2 Mar 1829

    Witnesses were Denis McKeogh of Knockadereen & John Ryan of Garranboy.
