Hello
I am looking for help I can't find any information on my father's family I only hit brick walls. My father Denis Patrick was born on April 29 1926 in Clonmel he had as far as I know a brother called Johnny Cagney Ryan who was a carpenter songwriter and entertainer in the 1950s I know he lived in Cashel. I believe he was born in 1928.
I know there was a sister called Johanna but don't know anything else.
My father's father was called Richard Ryan
My grandmother was Mary Margaret Ryan (Ryan) was her maiden name
I have only this information I would be grateful for any information.
Dee

Possibly this is the couples marriage number 39.
This is the only Richard Ryan to a Mary Ryan. Note his father was Denis so maybe that's where Denis' name came from.

Dear Margot and Patricia
I can't thank you both enough I can confirm that both pieces of information the link to the marriage certificate and census from 1901have brought my missing family back I am so grateful for the time and effort. My father left Ireland in the mid-1950s and never returned he was very tight-lipped about his life and family I only had the very basics to work with. And my efforts over many years came up blank.
Kind Regards Dee

Margot Hello
No I'm not a member currently but would be extremely grateful if you could provide the person with this information.
My father came to New Zealand in 1954 first to Wellington for work then later to Christchurch.
Cheers

I've had some success with my search but my father's family remains elusive his mother and brother and sister are nonexistent 😬 But I have much more history on the family I never knew I had.
Once again thank you.
