I believe that I am a descendant of this couple. My nephew Walter DelaneyIII is YDNA to their great great grandson Michal Delaney. I have a Irish Baptism for the above couple's son James Delany in the Ireland Catholic Parish Registers 1655-1911 on May 16, 1895. I am trying to tie William to my great great grandfather Patrick Delaney (born estimate 1828).

Karen: I searched the subscription site FindMyPast.ie and found a May 23 1865 baptismal record for a James Delany with father William Delaney and mother Mary Mansfield at Mullinahone church. So likely William was born 1845 or earlier. By the way, I did not locate a marriage record. Roger McDonnell
