After any information on John Scully and Ellen Hanlon my GGG Grandparents. Believe John born about 1806 and Ellen about 1811 in Nenagh. They may of lived in Rathnaleen. Their daughter Mary Scully(my GG Grandmother) married James Kelly(born in Rapala abt 1833) and come to Australia in 1866 dont have a date of their marriage but believe it in 1863 in Nenagh Parish. Would like to know more about John and Ellen and of any more children they may of had. Also any information on James Kelly's family Daniel Kelly and Catherine Spain.  Daniel was a Blacksmith as was James.

  • Please see the 1850 Griffiths Valuation survey head of household listing for Lisbunny civil parish which is adjacent to Nenagh parish. There is a John Scully listed in Rathnaleen North townland. There is also a Daniel Kelly in the same townland.

  • Looking at www.rootsireland.ie - the following were found-

10 matches for children born to a John Scully with mother Ellen in North Tiipperary

8 matches for children born to Daniel Kelly with mother Catherine.

however the timeline means not all would have been from same family...
