Thanks for the information.  I knew about Bridget and Ellen but not the other boys.

However, from the digitized image of this page in the register, it seems that the child born in 1816 must have had a first name; after all this was a baptism.  I notice that the word "December" too is very faint and I wonder whether the priest simply switched ink bottles before contining with the rest of the sentence.

It doesn't look like anything spilled on the page either, so I'm puzzled about why it's so hard to read.

I believe the priest failed to show a given name for whatever reason.
