Looking for any information on John Judge and spouse, Margaret Keeshan, of Roscrea--especially birth, marriage, death dates and parents. They had 13 children (born between 1815 and 1836) including sons, William, John, Denis and James, who were living in the New Orleans LA USA area according to 1850 US Federal Census. The oldest son, Arthur, remained in Ireland but moved to Nenagh and died there in 1898; his son, John Arthur, died in US Civil War in May, 1864. John Arthur's wife and son (born Aug 1864) returned to Nenagh, Ireland. Another of the 13 children, Mary Judge, died in Dublin.

Hi Mary,
You could try searching Irish Family History Foundation http://www.rootsireland.ie/ Tipperary North. They have Birth, Marriage and Death records for North Tipperary online. (Fee)
The land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64). Griffith's is freely available here:www.askaboutireland.com
Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38). Microfilm copies of the books for all of Ireland are available at the National Archives of Ireland (NAI) http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/tithe-applotment-books-and-the-primary-griffith-valuation/
also Familysearch.org. have a large collection of Birth, Marriage and Death records. They also have the Ireland Civil registration Births, Marriages and Deaths Index 1864 - 1958
Good luck

rootsireland is where I got all the Judge info on the 13 children and their parents. It is good but expensive. The key is to have the names of the parishes from your own family members which is my major problem with all my other Irish ancestors. That's why I am hoping to get location info from others through Ireland Reaching Out.

The Townlands are included on most records that you purchase from rootsireland. The townland and Parish where the Parents, Bride or Groom came from is located on the upper left side of the record. It will give the name of the Townland followed by Roscrea or whatever parish you are searching. If you know a townland in the Roscrea area where your family came from - post it with all the information you have on the person. The more information you include in your message the better chance you have of connecting with others researching the same family.
I hope this is helpful..

I viewed and printed only 8 of the 13 children and only the youngest child's record (1836 baptism) showed an address. It is Corville, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Should I re-post the message with this info or can I amend the original message?

You could post a new message with the info. you have on the youngest child 1836 Baptism with the townland of Corville and the Parish of Roscrea. Also include the Sponsors ( Their names are at the bottom of the record image)
Best wishes.
