Hello Paddy,
Have you any idea of his birth year (approx). I assume that his family went to England at some stage as you say he lived in Salford. (I assume Salford is in England).
Do you have any more information on him? Why did you post Clonmel as your search area? Have you any idea of his parents names or failing that what were the names of his children? (they were often called after grandparents)
I would like to help you but I just need an approximate year to search.
Please get back to me at your convenience,
Anne Dennehy

Thanks for the quick response,
According to the marriage cert which I have a copy and can scan to you as well the birth cert. of his show his age ; on the marriage cert as 27 years dated 7/3/1911 and birth cert. dated 5/11/ age 28 years and his race Irish was registered 26/1/1912, so working back about 1883/4
I don't know much about Parish areas, I saw that Tiperary was somewhere
Also names of a William, John, Thomas? I think it was in the census where the place of Salford, Lancashire,
Best regards from South Africa

Paddy,
I've performed a quick search for Daniel and have found a number of possibilities. In order to narrow it down, could you please scan the birth cert and send it to me. I'd greatly appreciate that.
