Hello there,
My great grandmother was Kate (or perhaps Catherine Bolan) who was born in 1860 in Hollyford. Are there any Bolan's still living there. I am trying to find out who her parents were so that I can trace them to England. She married my great-grandfather Henry Brown in Richmond, Surrey in 1877. I would be so greatful if anyone has any information about them.

I looked at the Roots Ireland indexes and they have an 1860 baptismal record for a Catherine Bolan (or variant) in the Kilcommon RC parish which includes Hollyford. The parents names were Brian and Margaret.
Roots is a subscription site. You may want to wait until next summer when the National Library will have the RC parish registers online for free searching.
