  • There is a townland of Ryehill  in the area of Ballinderry/Terryglass in North Tipperary, just on Lough Derg.  I have searched for maps that show this area but have not been able to find one.  The area can be viewed on http://www.tipperarynorth.ie/planning/docs/County_Development_Plan_2010_2016/County%20Settlement%20Hierarchy.pdf

  • Dear Rettane,

Rehill is a small townsland near the town of Cahir in south Tipperary.  If you look for it in the irish census , browse the census, click on Tipperary, then in the DED section click on kilcoran, then click on Rehill and you will see all the families who lived there in 1901 and 1911.

Hope that is of some use to you,

    regards,
