Am looking for family members from Tipperary Co, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jean
James Maxwell b.1873 Tipperary
Kate Quinlisk b.1873 Tipperary
These birthyears are one of many that I have found, so might not be correct. Kate immigrated to Chicago in about 1899, James was either a little ahead of her, or behind her, because they were married in Chicago 12 Jun 1900. They were Catholic.

Nenagh and Toomevara are the most likely parishes to start your search

Tom,
Thank-you so much for the information. This is a family I am researching for a good friend. I am coming to Ireland in May, and wanted to be able to at least go to the Parish this family was from, and take some pictures of the area.
So no invite for me to the White House.
The second Catherine is most likely the one I am looking for the year 1872 is close to the year I have been researching.
Thank you again for taking the time to help me in this search.
If I go to this Parish, would there be only 1 RC church, or are there several?? Being from the States, Parishes seem to confusing. I am from the west coast, so we do not even have townships. Plain, State, County, Town, a parish is a church, and nothing more.
