Born circa 1841 County Tipperary. Arrival date in Australia unkown but would be pre-1860 as that is when he married here
Married Maria Alice ALLEN in 1860 at Goulburn, NSW, Australia.
Worked as a shepherd, agricultural labourer and farmer between 1860 and 1879.
Died of TB in 1880 at Kenmore, Goulburn, NSW.
Children:William Joseph, Catherine Jane, Mary Anne, Edward John, Julia Alicia, Andrew Patrick, Charles Allen, Michael Thomas, James Joseph Vincent, Phillip Augustus and Francis Sylvester.

Hi Robyn,
It's a tall order to look for a ryan in tipperary without a parents name or place of birth. I would suggest that you look at the passenger lists to australia. These are all onlne on the australian governamental sites. I found my own gg grnadfather in NSW . Soem of the lists have a lot of information. See if you can find your john ryan and any other info about him there.
All the church records for Tipperary are on www.rootsireland.ie but you will find many john ryans there and unless you can find a way to refine your search , then it will be a long process.
