Hi all

I’m researching a McKenna family who lived in Aughnacloy in the 1900s for my friend and wondered if anyone else here is researching the same family? We would like to find out who their descendants were.

Here’s what i know so far.

Francis Mckenna (senior) and wife Jane Mullan had 5 children:

Henry born 1890, Sarah Ann 1892, Jane 1894 ( have found her descendants and she went to the US), Catherine 1896, Francis 1898, Owen 1901 (died in 1901 as did his mother Jane).

Francis McKenna (senior) probably passed in 1937 in Aughnacloy. This death was registered by his son of the same name. He was certainly alive and in Aughnacloy in 1924 as he is noted as the next of kin on daughter Jane’s passenger records.

I also know who some of their ancestors are if this helps:

Francis McKenna (senior) was the son of Eugene/Owen Mckenna and Sarah Hughes. I have traced some descendants of Owen and Sarah.

Jane was the daughter of Matthew and had a sister, Catherine who married a James Cuddy.

I think I’ve exhausted public ancestry trees however hoping someone is researching the family or indeed a descendant!

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.
