My third great grandmother Ann Hughes was born at parish Cappagh, Tyrone, about 1792, and was married about 1814 to John McAleer, spademaker of Drumnakilly, Termonmaguirk, Tyrone. They had 3 children in Ireland before immigrating to St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, about 1823, where 5 more children were born. She died at St. John City 12 October 1862. Would love to share information with Hughes descendants from Cappagh.
