Thank you. I'm of Mallon descent and live in the USA. My roots to NI go through Belfast to Co. Tyrone near/around Coalisland. Thomas Mallon and his wife Jane (Lynn) Mallon (my Great great grands) were married 12 May, 1825 and later had at least two children, twins, Patrick Henry (my Great grand father) and a daughter named Jane. Patrick Henry was born 1837, baptised Royal Catholic 1 Febuary 1837 in/near Coalisland and immigrated out of Belfast to the USA in/around 1855. Patrick Henry Mallon made homestead in/near Junction City, Kansas USA and died in 1902 and is buried at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Ogden, Kansas USA.

I'm looking for information on Thomas and Jane. I know a little but hit this wall. Jane was from the townland of Lenadremenagh. It is a family story that Jane and daughter Jane died early by falling victim to some type of "accidental" poisoning... I don't know when or where.

I'm hoping to make contact with a fellow Mallon in/around Coalisland or any Mallon with the same desire to research our Mallon heritage.

I'm waiting to hear from someone at the Archdiocese of Armagh. The church in this picture maybe where my Great-great-grandparents were married 12 May, 1825. St. Patrick's in Clonoe Co.Tyrone NI.
