Looking for information on James Joseph Dougherty born: October 6, 1878 in Co. Tyrone, Ireland. Immigrated from Ireland to Philadelphia, PA on the SS Ethiopia (No. 5 Swan Deck) sailing from Glasgow, Scotland stopped in Moville, N. Ireland to New York, USA. James married Edith A. McMillan born: November 1877 Maryhill, Lanarkshire Co., Scotland (near Glasgow). Edith is the daughter of Robert & Susan McMillan. Edith immigrated with her parents in 1884, but I am still looking for ship info. The only info I have on James Joseph Dougherty's parents is that his mother's first name is Mary born 1833 Scotland and father ? Dougherty born in Scotland and died bef 1883. I do have the names of their children (James Joseph's siblings) as: Ann born abt 1864, Mary born abt 1865, Ellen born 1866, Bridget born 1868, Jane born 1872, John born 1874, Joseph born 1876, and James Joseph born 10-6-1878 all born in Co. Donegal, Ireland.
