Looking for birth city of my Harry Barber in Northern Ireland. I do not know Harry Barber's birth date.
I think that Marie Barber was Harry Barber's sister who was born in Northern Ireland in 1835.
In Harry Barber's second marriage, Harry Barber was married to Maria Lilliss and they lived in the New York City area. They had one child Emma Davis Barber who was born in New York City in May 1863.
In Harry Barber first marriage, there were two children named Henry Barber who was born in New York City in 1860 and Dory Barber who was born in New York City in 1858.
The faith of the Barbers were Anglican (Episcopal).

Hi,
Do you know much about their emigration? Dates, the reason why they left, etc.? Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g. Liverpool), this could be a good place to find more information, and perhaps even find out an exact place of origin.
You could try posting as much information as you can regarding these people. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of volunteers will be able to assist you.
Have you tried

Berber is a very unusual name in Ireland. Barber is more common but not a lot. However, name spellings can be very misleading and one should not be trapped into thinking that a family is not yours because they spell the name a way you do not. I have 13 spellings for my McClementses.
There is another big problem. Ireland does not have many birth records in the 1830s so you will probably not find Harry (Henry?) and Marie
But if we assume it is spelled Berber, then this is the only Henrys i can find on the online databases in Northerin Ireland:

This is the closest to a Marie Barber:

Why do you say Northern ireland?
Was Maria lilliss born in Ireland?
