Robert Patterson, born 1845, Co Armagh, died in Portadown, married Mary Hewitt in 1894 who also died in Portadown.
Their children were:
James H Patterson, born 1885, Emma J Patterson, born 1888. Alfred Patterson, born 1892, Edmond born 1894, Joseph born 1895, Ephraim Patrick born Dec 14 1896, May born 1898, Isabella, born 1901, and Ethel born 1905 all in Co. Armagh.

I can trace Hewitts on my maternal grandmother's side to Kilmore Parish. My great, great grandfather,. William Hewitt, was born in 1824 in Kilmore Parish, Armagh. He was married to Mary Loughran June 4, 1858 in Armagh and then immigrated to the US in 1882. The family settled in Woonsocket, RI. I have no information about siblings of William Hewitt. Obviously the Christian name, Mary, was very common. I'd be interested in learning anything you find about the Hewitt name. Hope this helps a little.
