    Thanks for responding.

    • I would like to know if there is anyone by the name of Colton still living in County Waterford?  If so, could they be contacted and referred to my Message on Ireland Reaching Out.
    • I am searching for relatives of James Colton, born c. 1815 in County Waterford.
    • Ideally, I would like to know exactly when and where in County Waterford James was born?
    • James' parents were Murtagh Colton and Bridget Doyle of Carlow County.
    • James left Waterford (port unknown) about 1850 to sail to Canada where he settled in the Province of Ontario, Renfrew County, the village of Brudenell.
    • Ideally, I would like to know the port James left Ireland from?  The ship probably landed in Quebec, Canada?
    • James may have travelled with his sister Mary to Canada where she married Matthew Costello in 1852.
    • In 1853 in Canada, James married Mary Quigley (daughter of William Quigley and Bridget Kehoe (Keogh) formerly of County Wexford.
